ARM-v2-250The Alliance for Regenerative Medicine (ARM) is an international multi-stakeholder advocacy organization that promotes legislative, regulatory and reimbursement initiatives necessary to facilitate access to life-giving advances in regenerative medicine worldwide. ARM also works to increase public understanding of the field and its potential to transform human healthcare, providing business development and investor outreach services to support the growth of its member companies and research organizations. Prior to the formation of ARM in 2009, there was no advocacy organization operating in Washington, D.C. to specifically represent the interests of the companies, research institutions, investors and patient groups that comprise the entire regenerative medicine community. Today, ARM has more than 200 members and is the leading global advocacy organization in this field. www.alliancerm.org

At CIRM, we never forget that we were created by the people of California to accelerate stem cell treatments to patients with unmet medical needs, and to act with a sense of urgency commensurate with that mission. To meet this challenge, our team of highly trained and experienced professionals actively partners with both academia and industry in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment to fast track the development of today’s most promising stem cell technologies. With $3 billion in funding and over 280 active stem cell programs in our portfolio, CIRM is the world’s largest institution dedicated to helping people by bringing the future of medicine closer to reality. www.cirm.ca.gov

Sanford-resizedThe Sanford Consortium for Regenerative Medicine is a non-profit organization that marshals the intellectual resources of five world-leaders in life sciences research: the La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology, the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, the Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute, The Scripps Research Institute and the University of California, San Diego. Using the collective strength of its members, the Consortium is creating tools and technologies to accelerate advances in stem cell research and developing diagnostics, therapies and cures for a wide range of chronic diseases and injuries. Originally assembled in March 2006 as the San Diego Consortium for Regenerative Medicine, the organization was renamed in September 2008 in recognition of an extraordinary gift from T.
